Societal Challenge 2 Dissemination Event
Brussels, Belgium, 27^th - 29^th June 2016

Peter Schuler (it-objects, Germany) presented an overview of the VALERIE project at the Societal Challenge 2 dissemination event; held in Brussels on 27-29^th June 2016, as part of the EU InfoWeek on 2017 Horizon 2020 calls on "Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, maritime and martime inland water research and bio-economy". The event showcased results of successful EU FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects with presenters highlighting project achievements in terms of results, impact, success factors and lessons learnt. The information week was jointly organised by the Research Executive Agency (REA), DG RTD (The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation), DG AGRI (The Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development) and the BIOHORIZON consortium and gave an overview of available funding opportunities under the 2017 calls and updates on research results from projects funded under Societal Challenge 2.
