12th European IFSA Symposium
Harper Adams University, UK, 12 - 15th July 2016

VALERIE project partners will convene a workshop:  “Boosting research outputs: novel approaches for integrating research translation with interactive co-innovation” at the 12th European IFSA Symposium: “Social and technological transformation of farming systems: Diverging and converging pathways” at Harper Adams University, UK from Tuesday 12 to Friday 15 July 2016. http://www.harper-adams.ac.uk/events/ifsa-conference/sub-theme.cfm?id=20

The need to translate agricultural and forestry research outputs into practice is widely recognised. The challenge is to boost innovation by improving access to new information and enabling knowledge exchange between researchers and practitioners with a view to integrating new research into field practices. Papers will be presented that discuss knowledge exchange in the context of sustainable agriculture, including new integrative approaches to facilitate translation of research outputs into practice. The workshop will also include a demonstration of the “ask-Valerie.eu” search and stakeholder engagement tool.
