Web Portal: Manure Knowledge Kiosk: one-stop-shop launched for improving manure management.

The newly launched Manure Knowledge Kiosk offers resources, knowledge and connections to support improved manure management. Good manure management is essential in recycling nutrients and organic matter for healthy and productive soils. It enhances food security while reducing emissions to the environment and offers to all stakeholders in the livestock sector a one-stop-shop to support and provide technical services.
 
The Kiosk is part of the Livestock and Manure Management Component of the Agriculture Initiative supported by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (CCAC). This is part of a broader global effort to address short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) – including methane and black carbon- emissions from key agricultural sectors by sharing and implementing best practices in a manner that enhances food security and livelihoods and is consistent with broader climate change objectives.
