The Union of Silviculturalists of Southern Europe (USSE) is a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) created by forest owner associations in southern European countries including Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece.

USSE is a key contributor to the VALERIE forestry case study in Spain.

USSE was formed 20 years ago and has close links with forest owners and regional and national associations across Europe. It represents its members in international forestry policy fora, shares information and experiences with its members and facilitates international and transboundary cooperation.

USSE cooperates with its members in the design and development of new business models to strengthen their position in the value chain, increase profitability and mobilisation.
